Book Blitz Jr
Book Blitz Jr. is a Canyons School District literacy competition for 4th and 5th graders, designed to encourage reading outside the school curriculum. Students read books from a selected list, participate in monthly after-school book club meetings, form teams, and compete in a school competition in the Spring. Using their collective knowledge of the content of the books, teams answer trivia questions and compete for the chance to battle top teams from other elementary schools across the district.

Books can be found in the local library, school library, and are available to borrow at each Book Blitz Jr. monthly meeting. Students are also able to sign into Sora, a mobile library app to reserve virtual copies and audio books.
